Pushing jobs safely

Use PUT /v1/jobs/by-external-id/{externalJobId} with your own job id. It creates the job the first time and updates it every time after, so retrying a request or re-sending a job never creates a duplicate. Send changes promptly: a job that has been edited or closed in your system should be updated in Rolefy within minutes, not on the next nightly sync.

Screening questions and document requirements are sent in full every time and replace the job's current ones. Once a job has received applications its screening questions can no longer be changed, because candidates' answers belong to those questions: send them unchanged, or leave questionnaire out.
